What you’ll be doing…
The UCC/UCCaaS Project Manager will serve as the lead resource on UCCaaS implementations. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all activities from various internal and external teams, such as UCCaaS engineers, MPLS OM’s, VOIP PM’s, Managed Services PM’s, CPE PM’s, account teams vendors and customer resources. Project Manager will be responsible for driving project to completion, on time and on budget, and ensuring all deliverables in the customer signed SOW are completed.
Develop and execute project management programs for complex UCC/UCCaaS implementation projects.
Manage information, resources, and change control and customer expectations as defined by signed SOWs.
Chair internal and external status meetings, provide weekly executive level status reports.
Facilitate site activations and manage Day 1 support issues.
Coordinate scheduling dates with related VZ teams (MPLS, VOIP, CPE, and Managed Services), vendors (Cisco) and customer contacts.
Transition project from Implementation to Operation.
Complete all required systems to trigger invoicing.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience managing remote resources across multiple business and technical silos.
In depth knowledge of IPT, Cisco UC applications and design concepts, Verizon MPLS, VOIP, and CPE ordering
Experience working in dynamic and fast-paced environments
Experience managing competing and conflicting priorities
Must be fluent in MS Project
Experience with large scale, enterprise contact center environments and deployments
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Four or more years of contact center project management experience of large complex solutions.
Four or more years of unified communications implementation experience.
Four or more years of network infrastructure implementation experience.
Working knowledge of legacy Verizon provisioning systems such as PQ, Provisioning Controller, VRD, UOTM
Project Management Certification (PMP).
Cisco Unified Communications implementation experience to include Contact Center technologies.
Demonstrated effective presentation and communications skills to accurately represent and convey information both in verbal and written form to multiple levels of an organization.
Ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities.
Excellent computer skills necessary in Word, Excel, Presentation, Project and Visio.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to project manage and define automated system installation/configuration procedures.
Ability to ensure creation of System Run Books, defining day-to-day support, maintenance, troubleshooting knowledgebase of the infrastructure.
