The Admissions Counselor is a member of the professional recruiting team that energetically and enthusiastically pursues and implements the recruiting and enrollment goals of the university. The incumbent will represent and interpret UAH accurately and persuasively to prospective students, parents, school officials, school counselors, teachers, alumni, as well as UAH faculty, staff and students.
Bachelor’s degree/1-2 years of full-time verifiable work experience in a university or college setting or in a university organization or club/knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database management/must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel nights and weekends/must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills/Master’s degree preferred/ experience in recruitment is desired/knowledge of Recruit-STC and Banner software is preferred/prior university experience is desired
The approximate annual salary range for this position is $30,000 – $30,540.
