Position Summary: Provides support to end
users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware
issues. Identifies, researches and resolves routine technical problems.
Responds to telephone and email requests for technical support. Documents,
tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May
coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems. May
perform password re-sets for users. Demonstrates and models The Arc Minnesota’

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to staff/network technology problems in a
Manage and track tickets in IssueTrak
Write manuals and conduct staff training as
Provide technical support and install new software
Resolve issues and install updates to existing
Essential Knowledge and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. CompTIA A+ Certification required.
3. 1 year of help desk or other
relevant experience required.
4. Experience in IssueTrak Helpdesk
5. Understanding of Networking and
DNS / DHCP required.
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills,
listening, and questioning skills.
7. Strong documentation, analytical
and problem solving skills.
8. Experience working in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment.
9. Ability to effectively prioritize
and execute tasks.
10. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
Products, Microsoft Windows 8/10, and Microsoft Server 2008-2016.
