US based development of next generation SAW/BAW technology.
FEM simulation of 2D and 3D SAW/BAW devices.
Support PDK, model and ADS based simulation.
Facilitate engagement between US and Asian based development teams.
Serve as a contact between SAW/BAW development and US teams in Quality, PETE and design engineering.
Collaborate across product lines and supporting business functions to prioritize SAW/BAW Filter advanced technology roadmap goals.
Accelerate SAW/BAW roadmap for next generation size, performance and cost.
Contribute to design infrastructure for SAW/BAW integration into complex modules.
Contribute to a seamless interface between SAW/BAW development teams in US and Asia.
The SAW/BAW Technology Development Engineer will be a pragmatic and strategic minded with experience in bringing a technology to market in a high volume production environment and will have deep SAW/BAW engineering expertise. The candidate will have the ability to function effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-geographic environment. They must also be able to collaborate with business unit leaders and other executives in order to ensure design-in manufacturing cost-control drivers are set for production. The candidate would ideally have worked as a SAW/BAW engineer and is able to travel between Asia and the US in order to collaborate across different design and development engineering sites and facilitate delivering high quality products to market.
Has a minimum of 3+ years in SAW/BAW design, development and/or engineering.
Strong knowledge of FEM simulation of LSAW, TC-SAW, and multilayered high-Q SAW resonators.
Deep understanding of the physics related to an acoustic resonator’s quality factor and piezoelectric coupling coefficient.
Experience in the design, development and manufacturing of SAW/BAW Filters.
Experience with metrology tools such as SEM, HRTEM, and XRD is desired.
A proven track record of aggressively driving products and new technology to market in a high volume production environment.
Experience working with both business units, executives, and manufacturing engineering teams to achieve production roadmap goals for SAW/BAW Filters.
Experience driving process improvement and qualification tests in a manufacturing environment.
A proven member of an engineering team, with experience functioning effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-geographic engineering environment.
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry is required. PhD degree preferred.
