The IT Analyst (Service Desk) is responsible for onboarding and training new staff, leading internal team projects, conducting new application/system research and testing, and making recommendations to management. Creates end user training materials, staff training guides and FAQ’s and acts as the subject matter expert on QTC application technologies. Partners closely with business stakeholders during the entire life-cycle of application related projects (e.g., new implementations, enhancements, migrations, etc.).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for onboarding, training and mentoring ServiceDesk staff
Lead internal team projects that may be small to medium in size and meeting or exceeding expectations on project deliverables
Conducts required research and testing (including UAT) for new applications or application feature/function enhancements
Guide and train the ServiceDesk team members on enhancements and new application implementations
Create end user training materials, guides and FAQ’s for ServiceDesk supported applications
Act as primary escalation point of contact and subject matter expert on QTC applications
Collaborate with IT SDLC team to solve problems and improve application workflow
Collaborate with other IT and departmental support teams to strive to exceed user expectations
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Ability to collaborate with internal business partners to meet objectives
Strong written and verbal communications, including ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information, optimizing and documenting complex business processes
Strong documentation skills
Ability to delight and exceed user expectations on technology project deliverables
Functional knowledge of IT SDLC workflow and processes
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Ability to assess and streamline new or existing workflow process for improved efficiency
Ability to recommend solutions to meet or exceed needs
Ability to effectively train peers on existing or new application support functions
Excellent customer service skills
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
2 to 5 years’ experience in IT technical support function or IT training/lead role
Ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Bachelors or better.
2-5 years: Experience in IT technical support function or IT training/lead role
