The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for administering the admission procedures by collecting, organizing, and providing, information as well as being an effective resource to the clients’ families ensuring a smooth and organized admissions process.
Essential Admissions Specialist Responsibilities:
Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to speak intelligibly and accurately about our program and services offered.
Ability to be engaging and move families through the admissions process.
Greet visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner
Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner to keep electronic records up to date.
Complete over-the-phone assessments.
Work well on a team and maintain a high level of organization.
Provide tours of the facility.
Easily able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
Data entry regarding conversations with families and providers.
Complete insurance verifications.
Conduct Admissions process.
Bachelor’s degree required or 4 years experiencein behavioral health field.
Knowledge of behavioral health and insurance verification process.
