The Mandel JCC seeks applicants for its part-time Human Resources Generalist position. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will perform duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, training, and benefits management. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the Agency. Typical duties include, but are not limited to, establishing organization-wide recruiting strategies, managing new staff onboarding process, assisting with development of employee recognition programs, managing Agency background check process, maintaining employee personnel files, and serving as back-up for payroll and benefits management.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field and three to five years of human resources experience in a medium sized organization. Strong organizational, time management, presentation, verbal and written communication, decision making, and problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure to manage multiple concurrent tasks are also required. This position will be scheduled for 20 hours/week.
