Basic Purpose and Scope:
The Receptionist/HR Assistant will be the first contact for visitors and incoming phone calls. Assist and provide administrative support to Human Resources along with plant operations.

Essential Job Functions – Duties and Responsibilities
Answer phones, direct calls, retrieve voice messages, and assist with caller questions as appropriate.
Coordinates all temporary and new hire assignments including set-up in Alchemy, lockers, badges, put together EO personnel files, filing documents and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
Greet and assist all visitors and ensuring all GMP protocols are followed. Track visitor badges and completed GMP paperwork for visitors.
Responsible for ordering office supplies, safety shoes, visitor PPE along with stocking kitchen and breakroom supplies.
Maintain door security database.
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling participants and conference room, assist with any technology as needed. Includes keeping information on communication monitors updated.
Complete locker inspections which involves verifying all EOs are adhering to locker GMPs.
Coordinate special events; ESOP annual meeting, benefits fair and other local events both at the facility and in the community.
Coordinate new hire and benefit orientation which includes new hire packets, safety shoe order, locker assignment and PPE organized. This also includes the coordination of alchemy training for employees and/or vendors.
Responsible for incoming mail, sorting and delivering as well as preparing outgoing mail via, USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
Reconcile and process invoices to submit to Corporate Accounts Payable. Responsible for coding and submitting the general use credit card monthly for the plant.
Develop and update documents, prepare PowerPoint presentations, develop excel spreadsheets; prepare routine and complex correspondence including letters, memoranda and reports.
Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time and gaining cooperation of others.
Track and publish key performance indicators and productivity measures; including monthly Alchemy reports and merging files.
Support administrative functions for operations and human resources as assigned.
Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and plant security and report concerns to their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications Required to Perform Work:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required
Experience: Minimum of three years of work experience in a business environment
Expert knowledge and have a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook along with keyboarding skills
Must be accurate, timely and productive with attention to detail
Must have proven track record of managing multiple projects and be comfortable with multi-tasking on a daily basis.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to establish & maintain a professional and effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company
Ability to meet attendance requirements and ability to fluctuate work schedule based on HR and/or plant events, upon Manager’s request/approval.
