Our team is looking to add an experienced Estimator in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program. The redevelopment will occur in the middle of an active airport. The existing terminal and concourses will remain operational while the new facility is built in place in a phased approach. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team. The position will report directly to Senior Estimator. This position requires the individual to be based at the airport with the program management team. The position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by one of the JV partners.
5 or more years of experience.
A bachelors or higher degree in engineering/architecture or other technical field.
Estimates labor and material costs of production and engineering in response to Request for Proposal data submitted by prospective customers.
Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts, and calculates costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data.
Collect cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
Compute cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor.
Prepare and maintain historical cost data.
Create cost models for estimating elements.
Prepare cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors.
Proficient in working with Uniformat and CSI Formats.
Other duties as assigned.
