Job: Lead Human Resources Specialist

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:GS-13 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: demonstrating practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents associated with personnel staffing, recruitment, and pay setting within the Federal sector; experience applying at least 2 human resources management programs (i.e., position management/classification, labor/employee relations, staffing, recruitment, placement, human resources development, performance management, employee benefits, human resources information systems and/or occupational analysis) sufficient to provide comprehensive technical and consultative services to management; understanding agency organizational structure to evaluate customer needs; demonstrating communicative techniques in order to meet and deal tactfully and persuasively with others to resolve issues which are often controversial and sensitive in nature; demonstrating analytical techniques by conducting all necessary research, analysis, evaluation, and drafting of responses. – The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service.
