Your Role and Responsibilities
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Offering Management and will drive all aspects of cross-functional team coordination. This Program Director position will focus on Offering Management measurements and metrics, planning, governance, and content standardization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work in close cooperation with VP Offering Management and other executives to meet existing and evolving departmental objectives
Collaborates with peers and executives to define priorities in alignment with IBM strategy
Assist with roadmap process across Hybrid Multicloud storage and software product lines
Assist with annual planning processes
Proactively identify areas to improve within OM and cross-functionally and communicate recommendations
Recommend tools and technologies that will accelerate OM objectives
Travel as required
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of product management/offering management experience
5+ years of storage or related technology experience
Experience with requirements management (eg. Aha, ZenHub)
Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Cross-functional leadership, influence and collaboration capabilities
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Pragmatic Marketing experience
Storage industry expertise highly preferred
