Job: Corporate HR Business Analyst
Location: Chevy Chase, MD
GEICO Human Resources is seeking a creative, analytical, and motivated Business Analyst.
The ideal Corporate HR Business Analyst candidate must possess analytical skills and follow through required to drive results through project coordination and reporting.
The Corporate HR Business Analyst job duties include:
Coordinates various projects by taking ideas from concept to completion on various scales, while interacting with cross-departmental stakeholders and varying levels of management and non-management
Identifies opportunities to improve the overall internal customer experience through analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data
Identifies, plans, and coordinates proposed systems changes and enhancements for Corporate HR. Works with HRSS, HRIS, Payroll, General Counsel and HR management (as applicable) to achieve project goal and deliverables
Coordinates, plans, manages User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Corporate Human Resources and locations (as applicable)
Involves writing test cases and validating test case output through systems testing. Also, manages all facets of Subject Matter Experts UAT to include executing test scripts and providing detailed feedback on test output prior to sign-off and systems implementation
The position will work out of GEICO’s corporate headquarters in Chevy Chase, MD
Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, and other foundational MS Excel functions
Communicate research findings effectively verbally and in writing through presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries
Strong skills in data management, analysis, and problem solving
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to see ideas from concept to completion
Experience defining and developing new programs, tools, and processes
Possess above average project management skills with the ability to prioritize deliverables and recommend process changes based on analysis
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Prior Workday human capital management (HCM) experience preferred
Work both independently and in a team environment
Skilled at establishing, managing and leveraging relationships with internal and external partners/vendors
Ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of the organization
Proven track record of success in prior positions
College degreed or actively pursuing preferred
