What does a great IT Business Consultant do?
In our Open Solutions DNA area, you are a highly technical self-starter that will install, troubleshoot and maintain the DNA software and all subsequent peripheral devices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to install and configure one of the top core banking platforms in the industry.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the installation of servers and databases required to support the DNA Core banking system
Standard Oracle installation required to run our DNA system
You will transfer of that knowledge to the client so they are self-sufficient to support the product at the time of conversion.
Deployment of workstations and peripheral devices that include, but are not limited to, receipt printers, cash and coin dispensers and recyclers. Document imaging solutions with signature pads, and license scanners.
You are going to be responsible for the setup of client’s laser check printing.
You will implement client testing and training environments in support of client functional testing and training initiatives.
You will provide onsite and remote technical support for various stages in the conversion process.
You will resolve issues as they arise and maintains reported issues within Compass.
You will also work closely with client and Project Manager to schedule technical assistance and on-site visits.
You will work to develop strong client relationship.
Responsible for obtaining knowledge of new Fiserv products to be installed and crafting any necessary documentation for the installation of these products.
You are to provide technical support to Implementations Consultants and other Implementations team members.
You will support and management of internal Implementations servers, databases and testing environments.
You will maintain updated documentation related to client environments and project status.

High School Diploma/GED +
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in running, configuring, troubleshooting software and/or the Open Solutions DNA software
You have previous supervisory/system admin experience in a multi-project, dynamic implementation environment required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions
A self-starter and motivated individual is a requirement.
Have exceptional troubleshooting skills and be able to resolve complex technical issue by researching issues through the internet and via internal knowledge base tools.
Travel Required: 50% – 75%
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working experience with Windows 2008/2012 Server and Windows 7 required.
Advanced skills in Microsoft IIS 7.5 and Microsoft Certificates
Minimum of 3 year of hands-on Oracle experience required.
PL/SQL or SQL experience required.
Experience with Citrix Metaframe or thin-client deployment preferred.
Current experience with the DNA Application Suite.
Working knowledge of Oracle’s RMAN, OEM, and DBVisit or other database backup solutions required
