What does a great Information Security Engineer, Senior do at Fiserv ?
You’ll be a part of Insider threat engineer/analyst to mature the insider threat program focused on data analysis, rule tuning, policy management while improving the control framework and reducing risk. You’ll examine at existing controls, policy and make recommendations for improved security posture. We need someone who is a proactive candidate and someone who can think outside the box, and looks for threats and opportunities before they occur.
You’re the kind of person who can:
Perform analysis across multiple tools & platforms to build & tune Insider Threat scenarios including:
DLP & CASB Policy analysis, rule tuning & optimization
Data mine to determine current user behavior and develop new rules to protect data & detect threats across DLP, CASB, IAM, Proxy
Constant evaluation & tuning of policies to streamline volumes & tune out noise
Identify risky business practice trends and work to promote cyber core services & policy enforcement
Develop CASB/Shadow IT monitoring strategy, rule correlation, tuning
Develop Database monitoring solution, rule tuning & optimization
Evaluate Privilege User behavior, monitoring & detection techniques and correlated detection
Perform root cause analysis on incidents and determine where controls need strengthened, partner & implement (new proxy blocks, block of unsanctioned cloud service, DLP controls, encryption)
Threat hunting for common known Insider Threat techniques to identify policy opportunities or new controls
Partner with SOC & Analytics team to build new correlated rules; engineer to SIEM monitoring solution
Participate in tool evaluation as needed for UBA/EUBA or Splunk Correlation
Identify high risk user & risk-treatment strategy for risky roles & users
Partner with technology teams on additional blocks & controls
Expand process & partnership with threat intel & industry leaders to continually tighten the security posture
Evaluate current & emerging attacks and assess how an insider could exploit and propose resolution and escalate risk
Required Qualifications For Consideration:
Bachelors Degree or high school diploma/GED
Minium of three years experience in security
Preferred Skills for Consideration:
General security skills and understanding of security pillars, standards, methodologies
