The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide administrative support to the recruitment team, crafts job descriptions for attracting the maximum number of applicants and maintains databases with candidates’ information. The goal is ensuring that our recruitment process runs smoothly, and we recruit qualified and high-performing candidates.
The position can be located in either Baltimore, MD or Columbia, MD and will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.
Post open requisitions in applicant tracking system and other sites needed, as well as maintain applicant tracking system
Source and prescreen candidates
Initiate Predictive Index, cognitive screening for candidates
Organizing candidates’ data in company’s internal HCM database for example: employee promotions, transfers, acquisitions; new hire information; update employees’ addresses, phone numbers, emergency contact
Audit HCM for errors and corrections
Assist with the onboarding of new hires for example: send New Hire “Welcome” emails and new hire documents, process new hire documents, E-Verify
Provide NOVAtime login information for new hires; acquisitions
Initiate IT tickets for new hires, promotions, transfers, termination
Organizing referral processes, such as managing bonus requests and asking for referrals
Preparing reports on new hire metrics for example: source-of-hire, time-to-hire, time-to-fill etc.
Preparing job offer letters for new hires, promotions, transfers and acquisitions
Perform reference and background checks; as well as drug screens
2-4 years’ experience
Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
A keen eye for details
