Laulima Government Solutions, LLC is looking for a qualified Data Security Analyst-Intermediate to support a customer in Honolulu, HI.
Analyze, Correlate and Trend Anomalous Events and Incidents: Analyze and correlate anomalous events identified in Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, and supporting devices/applications. These devices, applications, tools, and data include, but are not limited to the following:
a) ArcSight SIEM (or similar capability)
b) JIMS (Joint Incident Management System)
c) HBSS (Host Based Security Systems)
d) TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) Dump
e) Attack, Sensing, & Warning Sensors (Snort, Full Packet Capture (PCAP), Flow data, Pipeline and Super Mediator)
f) McAfee Intrushield IPS
g) Router and firewall logs, Syslog data
h) Web Proxy / Reverse Proxy logs
j) Big Data Platforms
k) NIKSUM Sensors
l) Cyber analytics applications
m) Netflow Data
Analyze, correlate and trend anomalous events and incidents to identify and characterize the threat or incident in such a manner that will:
a) Identify the cause, source, and methodology of compromises or incident.
b) Identify and recommend network configuration changes in order to (IOT) deter the existing threat.
c) Configure and fine tune detection/prevention capabilities for IDS, IPS, SIEM, and supporting devices/applications
d) Facilitate reporting and situational awareness to ARCYBER, DISA, CCMDs, and respective regional Theater Signal Commands
e) Facilitate reporting to Law enforcement and Counter-Intelligence investigation agencies.
f) Update Incident Handling procedures, response guidelines, and checklists based on findings and lessons learned.
g) Submit forensically sound media images to ARCYBER F&MA as directed.
4.9.3 Automated Information System (AIS) logs: Analyze AIS logs required in response to identified computer network defense threats.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge and minimum 4 years of experience in Web Security and/or Data Security Analysis.
Experience with Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) periodic inspections.
Experience with DoD security hardening, collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.).
Experience with security architectures, firewalls and network access.
Experience in cyber security documentation and system authorization artifacts (System Security Plan, lifecycle documentation, continuous monitoring plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, Risk Assessment, etc.).
Knowledge with the DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience planning, synchronizing, and conducting Information Operations (IO) with the customer and other vendors • Experience with Army Cyber Security (CS) guidance and regulations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
Must meet at least one baseline certification under the CSSP-Auditor position category per DoD 8570.01-M regulations.
CISA, GSNA, or CEH
Must have a 1st IO CMD PT computing environment certification.
Must be able to complete the Government’s current Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Computer Based Training (CBT) within 4 weeks of work start.
Must be a US citizen.
Must have a TS/SCI clearance.
