Job: Technical Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY 10016
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team and enhance our skillset. This position will serve as an intermediary between the business and our developers to ensure accurate requirements are captured and applications are developed to spec. Accurate documentation is crucial to the success of our applications. Technical knowledge of relational databases and web applications is preferred. This position with work on healthcare related projects, specifically with a Medicare focus.61551
• Work with various business partners to document requirements. • Translate business requirements into technical requirements. • Assists project team with creating complex queries, complex technical programming, and complex applications. • Works with advisers from key functional areas to understand potential project impact on the organization, align project work, and execute activities accordingly • Presents to internal/external customers, constituents and business partners, strong business as well as systems knowledge and can perform reasonability checks. • Oversees the analysis, planning, design and development being performed by project team to support accurate maintenance of support systems for business areas. • Influences change or enhancements to business processes, policies and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and access. • Develops and participates in presentation and consultation to existing and prospective customers, business partners and internal business areas on information services, capabilities and performance results.
Previous Business Analyst experience. Requirement gathering and documenting skills. Relational database knowledge, specifically SQL Server. .Net web application knowledge. Data interpretation and analysis experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently or in a group with virtual employees. Prior telework experience is preferred.
